MOSCOW, June 7 (Xinhua) -- The Russian military conducted group strikes using long-range precision weapons and drones against targets in Ukraine, the Russian defense ministry said Saturday.

According to the ministry, the strikes targeted enterprises of Ukraine's military-industrial complex, including workshops assembling attack drones, facilities for the maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment, and ammunition depots.

"The objective of the strike has been achieved. All designated targets were hit," the ministry said in a statement.

Ukraine's Air Force said Saturday that Russia raided 10 Ukrainian locations in an overnight attack while wreckage from downed aerial targets fell in seven others. ■
